If you're new to programming, do you know that sometimes
the reason why your programs aren't working is just because of one
little "comma" or "space" or "period"
that you've missed? If you don't know the tactics, you'll think
the other way and if you're new, rather than solving the error,
you'll just make it worst.
Confidence is not always winning, not always victory.
Indeed, it is that very quality in humanity which refuses to stay
defeated. A kind of stubborn cheerfulness. Remember there are two
things you can do with mistakes: you can run away and you can grow.
Some people always seem to get faster promotions,
make more money and generally stand out on the job, in any economy.
Why is that? While there’s no one thing that will guarantee
career success for everyone, there are three things you can start
doing today to make yourself more valuable -- to any employer, in
any industry.
Think of developing skills, not serving time.
Take every course that's offered and focus on skills that can lay
a foundation for your own business or next job. Can you learn HTML
or PowerPoint? Can you use some evenings, weekends and lunch hours
to solicit some free lance gigs?
Obviously, telephone practice as well as general interview
and question practice are essential. Further, you should be able
to demonstrate a good knowledge regarding the job, company, its'
products and services and even its' competitors...that means undertaking
research.
