Mabuhay! I just visited your site. Though I haven't viewed it that
much, I noticed your call for volunteer editors. Since my mother
is also an OFW in HK, I thought that it would be worthwhile to be
your volunteer, at least.
I think a can offer a little help, I was a pioneer staff at our
college's paper in CLSU (Nueva Ecija). eventually, I became the
Managing Editor. I was able to write for some other publications
in the University. My skills may not be that good as compared to
those in the journalism industry, however, I can always update and
refresh my knowledge. I hope you will welcome my assistance. I hope
to be a part of your group. Maraming Salamat Po!

Hi, I am Joanne Yu from the Philippines. I came across your website
when I would like to help and give advice in any way I can. I am
currently working as a Marketing Specialist at Uptrend Business
Enterprise. I may be able to give them advice when it comes to business
opportunities here in the Philippines so that the money the OFWs
are sending to their loved ones will grow. That's all for now. Hope
to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Joanne Yu Email:uptrend_phil@yahoo.com

Dear Vanie,
Pagbati muli!
We are developing a program called "Bridging the Distance:
A Culture and Arts Program for Migrant Filipinos and their Families."
By culture and arts
music, theater). May special workshop din as outlets for abused
migrants.
Anyway, if you are interested in consolidating OFWs through this,
we will be more than willing to include you in our program.
Hanggang sa muli at mabuhay kayo!
Luchi

hi,
i had open up the website, quite interesting and informative!
If you're one of the originators of the website, I suggest to link
with some other front runner filipino groups such as FILIPINO ASSOCIATION
(FANBD), Filipino Lawn Tennis Assn - Brunei (FILTA), PINOY GOLFERS'
AROUND (PIGA), UP CIRCLE - BRUNEI, to name a few. This might be
one of the vehicle to unite OFW IN BRUNEI.
Being here in Brunei for 24 years and one time an officer of the
FILIPINO ASSOCIATION, I noticed that most filipinos here in Brunei
really needs to reach out n be reach out?. Sad to say we are not
so organized here in some way, probable due to some personal agenda
or something!
keep in touch!

For more than two decades, most of us have been in search of a
cohesive link where it could provide us a two-way communication,
but are only constrained by the unavailability of a concrete medium.
Members of the organization who are living overseas, is in the perpetual
struggle of searching far and wide - the very people whose young
lives have been changed responsibly and have forged a stronger fraternal
bond over the years.
This time, the link will be stronger than ever! With the
OFW-CONNECT website, we will be able to provide the members a forum
to reunite once again - exchange notes, greet, chat and
enliven the spirit of brotherhood. This website will serve as our
witness for all electronic communication; an archive of the continuing
history of our lives, and a digital room to store photographs, messages,
news and other activities.

"Congratulation for this kind of website. Its an informative
and can be useful as a medium of communication for our OFW like
my husband. Thru your website our OFW can relay their message
for their love ones here in Philippines. Plus it can help give them
an idea on what are the profitable investment do they need to value
their earnings.
You can also add a section for the Advice Section for our OFW
who need your moral support or a sort of advice for their problems.
Some of our OFW had their family problem while they are miles away
and they are helpless. Thats all for now. More Power to all !!!

ko nalaman ang maraming information about being an OFW.
Thank you very much
