World record for Marikina City shoe maker for crafting
the 2002 largest shoes in the world. Each of the shoe is measuring
5.5 meters long, 2.25 meters wide and 1.83 meters high.

Also in 2002, San Fernando City in Pampanga was awarded
as the origin of largest Christmas lantern in the world which was
lighted in December that year. It has a measurement of 26.8 meters
in diameter. (and we have the world's longest Christmas season

On February 16, 2003, about 107,000 Filipinos joined
a 30-minute aerobics exercise in Rizal Park Manila, it was also held

hailed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". It was the Ifugaos
who carved this magnificient terraces from the mountain of Banaue
hundreds of years ago. It was also called as one of the World's Heritage
Site by UNESCO.
Taal Volcano - World's Smallest Volcano
The world's smallest volcano is the Taal Lake in Tagaytay
City with the diameter of 406m high crater. It is also called as "a
crater within an island within a lake" because it stands on the
island and at the Taal Lake.
