"How to get a job in Brunei? What are the kinds of Jobs available
there for Filipino? - Shy Girl"
Answer 1 -
kalimitan factory workers, sales and maids.
mong mag-basa ng mga openings dito, here is the link to the most popular
online news and job ads here , www.brudirect.com , just click on Jobs
located on the left of the main page. - Vanie B.

Post subject: Online Job Application for Korea
http://www.ofw-connect.com/OFWForum/viewtopic.php?t=213
'I would like to know how to submit an application form by internet.
I am applying a job for korea. I have no enough time to go to poea
on weekdays because of my busy schedules everyday. Sender
from Bulacan"
Answer 1 -
Ang pag-kakaalam ko, punta ka na lang sa website ng poea which is
at www.poea.gov.ph, download the form and fill that up and you can
send it by email or post. It is like a Resume submission, then it
will be forwarded by POEA to Korean employers and when the Korean
employer selected your resume that's the only moment you'll be contacted
regarding your job application. Vanie B.

Post subject: Tips as Tourist Visa Holder
for Brunei
http://www.ofw-connect.com/OFWForum/viewtopic.php?t=233
"hi, I'm a new expat in Brunei, I'd like to bring my family
here for a vacation from Phils, can you give me some tips or information
on how should I process their papers? Thank you and good luck for
this wonderful website. Anot"
Answer 1 -
They should have passport already so that the processing is fast.
once the passport has been issued to your wife/children, you should
obtain the "Affidavit of Support and Consent to Travel"
from Phil. Embassy. You should give your wife a copy of this in Philippines
because she need it to secure the DSWD
Parental Travel Permit from, and if your children has no passport
yet, this affidavit is also required at the DFA.
And then, you should give them a copy of your IC and the chop of
Employment Pass in your passport, and also you should have a personal
letter as well for the Brunei Embassy in Philippines. If you can also
fax these documents/copies, it's better and so that they can trust
your family that you're really sponsoring them for their travel in
Brunei. But remember, your family (wife/children) should already have
the tickets or even just the booking to bring in Brunei Embassy. the
processing is only between 8.30 until 9:30, so be early to be there.

Post subject: Process on how to go to Taiwan
http://www.ofw-connect.com/OFWForum/viewtopic.php?t=189
matagal mo ng gusto... pwede kaba tanungin? ano or paano mo ginawa
Answer 1 -
NBI clearance, at passport. Oo nga pala medyo malaki ung over all
fees, 80,000. hehehe.... Tapos pinabayad sa kin kalahati. Then pinamedical
kami ng first phase, lugi nga kmi pa pinagbayad dun mga 4k. Tapos
pre departure orientation seminar sa poea. Tapos... second phase ng
medical.
naiintindihan or naguguluhan ka. Sasagutin kaagad ng ating admin hehe,
sige - fsecretario"

Post subject: I'm looking for a job abroad and i'm interested
to work there in Brunei.
http://www.ofw-connect.com/OFWForum/viewtopic.php?t=232
"Hi there!
I'm looking for a job abroad and i'm interested to work there. I just
wanna know where can i send my resume or where can i find licensed
agency for Brunie. Is there any direct hiring for Brunie, how
can i find any information about available job there. Any information
or help coming from you is much appreciated. Thank you very much!
- Camille"
Answer 1 -
Salamat sa iyong email, for your info, Brunei is just a small country,
the total population is about 350,000 only (squatters area just in
Manila alone is actually bigger than the population of Brunei), and
this population, almost half is expat workers such as OFWs, India,
China, Malaysia, Europe, even Us and Australia etc...
About working here, yes Brunei so far is the best place to work ,
kaya lang others find Brunei as boring place.
You can have more channels by
subscribing to Cable from Malaysia which is about B$50 or P1600/mo.
Pero when it comes to national security, safe ang BRunei and then,
workers". Karamihan ang mga gustong pumunta dito (who don't like
to be factory workers lang) ay nag-pupunta as Tourist o kaya may mga
kamag-anak sila or kaibigan dito, kung saan natutulungan sila makahanap
So, kung ayaw mong mag-try as Tourist tulad ng iba or ayaw mo
online or mail.
O,sige Goodluck! -
more info,
paalala...
, ok . Vanie B.

Post subject: Best way na maka-punta kami dyan (France) para
makapagtrabaho
http://www.ofw-connect.com/OFWForum/viewtopic.php?t=40
pagdating dun. Pero ganon pa rin yon, you have to shell out a considerable
in advanz - Rolfa"
Answer 1 -
To apply for a Tourist Visa and than start to work? All risk are
on your side.
When you really found an employer and you work hard and the employer
is not willing to pay you your salary, will you go to the police???
On the other sites you will only find low paid jobs, it is not enough
to survive in Europe with such a low paid job. You will face the same
problems than in the Philippines.
In Europe there are already too many workers, who are working only
with a Tourist-Visa through the open boarders to Eastern-Europe. Like
in the States the police is hunting them and this workers will be
sent home very quickly. The difference for you is, through the open
boardes they are back after 48 hours and start working again, but
you are still in the Philippines, where you have to look for money
for the plane-ticket and another Tourist-Visa.
When you will apply for a Tourist-Visa, you need also a round trip
ticket.
Before thinking to enter Europe to work there with a Tourist-Visa,
you should realy think twice, of you can spent your money for better
things.
When I will go abroad, I will look to find a country where the people
speak English, like in the States, England, Canada or Australia. In
these countries you will not have the problem with the language but
the same problems, when you have no working-permit. Sorry to tell
you, industrial countries are not waiting for poor people who need
support from the different goverments. That are the facts!!
I have heard that European Countries, who belong to the so called
Schengen countries, are looking only for reasons not to give you a
working-visa, because they know many people will start to work with
such a visa. - Ronnie"
